Anyone know what these normally go for?
I was at a bookstore today and they had a stack of them. I was going to get them, but they were charging about 4 dollars each! They weren't even old - say 10 years at the most.
What's a normal price for these? They're great maps, but.... jeez.

Re: folding maps out of National Geographic
Sun, November 26, 2006 - 6:15 PM$4 is too much.
I sometimes buy National Geographic maps to cut up for art projects. I pay 25¢ to $2. I would only pay as much as $2 for one that was pre-1970 and really good. I really like the older ones for the rich blue tones plus the quality of the paper is easy to work with.
You usually can buy old National Geographics for 25¢ at yard sales, they often have the maps still in them.

When the guy said he wanted 15 dollars for 4 of them, I just smiled and walked out of the shop without saying anything.
